Going for a serene visit to the Potomac River at the George Washington Parkway is another popular thing to do in McLean. Here people go on hikes, check out some local wildlife, and take in the outdoors. McLean is also close to Great Falls Park, another popular place to take in some breathtaking views and spend time in nature.

McLean Central Park is another place with fun activities to do throughout the year. Residents love to go to this park for a round of disc golf or to visit the gazebo for the annual summer concert series.
